Born in Historic Bennington,Vermont. I've been illustrating and painting all of my life. Although I've never attended any formal educational institutes for art, my talent is evident and always green and growing. That's me on the right of the photograph, and my brother Jeff on the left, 6 & 8 years old respectively. Thank you God for my talent, and many thanks to my brother John for taking care of my dumb ass and "trying" real hard keeping me out of trouble growing up! Thanks Puke!...lol...Defender of our country! and well, just about the only father figure I had during my twisted teen years!

Several wall murals I've had the oportunity to paint, have found their way around the United States, including two ten feet high murals I did for the Oregon Zoozeum of Dinosaurs & Reptiles, as well as another even larger mural (all pastels, and very large black magic markers!) done for the bay window inside the "Pegasus" Book Store owned by the renowned Comic Book Publisher Michael Richardson, founder and owner of Dark Horse comics, you know, the man who wrote "The Mask" starring Jim Carrey. The mural featured Marvel's X-Men posing for the picture and hung in the window for almost a year! while I colored comics across the street at Dark Horse Comics in the early '90's The painting to your left was taken from the cover of a 1917 edition of Field Astream, and depicts a killer wolf instead of the cover's killer grizzly. Be it known, I love animals and they always seem to come to me from the wild unafraid, I do not hunt, nor do I condone hunting.

Being from Vermont, I've had some pretty good luck getting my "canvases" free from different Historical, as well as, non-Historical sites here in the Bennington area. Like the horse to your left for instance, done on Vermont antique roof slate! This particular piece of slate was taken from an old mansion in North Bennington, which is estimated at over 200 years old! The " Horse of Gath" as I call him, was taken from a panel done by Simon Bisley for Frank Frazetta & Glen Danzig for the line of comics called: "The DeathDealer, Prisoner of the horned helmet " Frank Frazetta and James Silke also got together and created a five part miniseries pocket novels called: "The DeathDealer Prosoner of the Horned Helmet" which inspired me to write the poem called: "The flight of Robin Lakehair" which you will find on the main page, if your mouse over skills are honed properly ;)
