"The DeathDealer"

"This 8.5 X 11 fax was sent to my friend Randy Bowen of BowenDesigns. Randy sculpted the DeathDealer statue for Frank Frazetta back in the early 90's when I was still working at Dark Horse Comics. At the time, Randy worked for Dark Horse inhouse as research & developement. This fax was very secretive, as no one had ever seen the DeathDealer's face. The fax was sent to Randy from Frank to let him know how he wanted Gath's face to look. Before this fax was sent, Randy designed a bust statue depicting his version of Gath's (The DeathDealer) face, Frank had the face of Gath already imprinted in his mind, as he is, after all, the creator of the DeathDealer, and the right hand of God when it comes to Fantasy art. The bust Randy sent was somehow inadvertently broken by Mr. Frazetta. Frank sent back the broken pieces to Randy in a box, followed by the fax!..and those ARE the facts jack."
